Foods Good For Lung Health

The pros and cons of consuming processed foods vs. organic whole foods and corresponding weight loss.

In their efforts towards Weight Loss, people usually opt for various solutions that have come up in the weight loss industry. These alternatives range from fad diets, weight loss programs to weight loss pills.

In spite of the solutions, people do not really understand the objective of weight loss process and retain their ignorance intact. For a successful weight loss program, the more you nourish your body, the more control you can exercise over weight gain. The main reason for most people being overweight is that they are undernourished.

Obese people stop taking their food in proper quantities in order to lose weight. This may lead to some weight loss but it comes back again due to their slowed body metabolism and they gain back the weight later.

One reason contributing majorly to their weight gain is the increasing consumption of processed & packaged foods. The nutritional value of any food substance is inversely proportional to the amount of processing it goes through. The more a food is processed, the less nutrition is present.

Nutrient-less Soil
The crops grown using commercial methods lose most of its nutrients because the soil in which they are grown generally lacks nutrient value. The soil lacks important elements like nitrogen, which is essential for a soil to produce a good crop. Fertilizers are added to the soil along with pesticides which are not good for our health. This approach to farming may produce some great harvests, by volume, but not by nutrition standards. Lots of essential elements, what a human body needs, are lost in this kind of food production.

Foods lacking Essential Constituents
The processed food which we eat does not contain all the essential nutrients, so we keep feeling hungry all the time. The result is that we eat more quantity of the same foods to fill our stomach. Moreover, these foods contain added sweeteners and chemicals which act as incomplete calories for our body and are being turned into fat.

Eat Organic Foods
The organic foods which do not use pesticides or synthetic fertilizers for plant materials, do not allow genetic engineering or the use of radiation. It emphasizes the utilization of renewable resources, that may cost more than the non-organic foods, but it is still useful to eat them. This is because the organic foods actually satisfy your hunger because of more nutrient value present in these types of foods. Organic whole foods turn off your hunger whereas the non-organic foods do not. And you usually end up eating a lot more, and still feel always hungry.

Wrong Dieting Plans
Fad diets have become popular because of their immediate though short-term results. While dieting, when you stop taking a specific food or start eating some other combination, you may not get the number of calories that your body actually requires. The body processes various nutrients differently. It is the intake of a specific proportion of several nutrients and the shift to fat burning metabolism which is important. A large percentage of people gain back their weight because they are not able to keep up with the food they choose to eat while dieting.

Conclusion
A successful diet program is one which provides the human body with all the essential nutrients. In order to accomplish the weight loss goal, you must start eating organic whole foods, preferably one good meal a day. Your appetite will be lowered down and you will be able to resist the temptation of your taste buds for unhealthy food.
